To qualify as a surrogate with True Match Surrogacy, candidates must:
Submit your application and meet your dedicated coordinator.
Create your profile, match with the right surrogate, and complete medical, psychological, and legal steps.
Begin IVF and embryo transfer, then support your surrogate throughout pregnancy.
Create a birth plan together, welcome your baby, and complete final legal steps.
Intended parents submit a $2,500 refundable deposit, which safeguards reimbursement of expenses if a match ends prior to contract completion.
We require escrow accounts to be fully funded prior to embryo transfer, ensuring all financial obligations can be met without delay or uncertainty.
Our team manages all receipt submissions, with surrogates receiving monthly reimbursements via wire transfer — ensuring peace of mind throughout the journey.
An embryo created through IVF is transferred to the surrogate. The surrogate has no biological connection to the baby.
Traditional surrogacy represents approximately 2% of all surrogacy arrangements in Canada.
The surrogate uses her own egg and conceives via IUI with donor or IP’s sperm, making her genetically related to the child.
