Official Rules
Contest Period
The True Match Surrogacy Hopeful Parent Photo Contest begins August 15, 2026 and closes at September 15, 2026. All times are stated in GMT-7. Entries received before or after the Contest Period will not be considered.
Eligibility
The contest is open to all hopeful parents regardless of residency or citizenship who book and attend an introductory consultation. Employees, contractors and representatives of True Match Surrogacy Ltd., along with members of their immediate households, are not eligible. No purchase, payment or participation in a True Match Surrogacy program is required.
How to Enter
Eligible participants must complete the official entry form at https://www.truematchsurrogacy.ca/photo-contest/, provide the requested contact information, submit up to three (3) photographs and include a brief caption describing its meaning. Unless otherwise stated on the entry page, only one entry per person is permitted. Automated, incomplete, late or improperly submitted entries may be disqualified.
Photo Requirements
Photographs should respectfully celebrate family, connection, hope, parenthood, generosity or a meaningful moment associated with a family-building journey. Entries must be original, appropriate for a family audience and free from unlawful, defamatory, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit or privacy-infringing content. Visible brand names, confidential records and sensitive personal information should not appear in submitted photographs.
Consent and Authority
Entrants must have taken the photograph or possess all necessary rights and permissions to submit it. The entrant must obtain informed permission from every identifiable adult shown. When a child appears, the entrant must be the child’s parent or legal guardian or have documented permission from the child’s parent or legal guardian. True Match Surrogacy may request evidence of consent before publishing an entry or awarding a prize.
Judging Criteria
Eligible entries will be evaluated by a panel appointed by True Match Surrogacy using the following criteria: emotional impact and storytelling, 35%; connection to the contest theme, 30%; originality and creativity, 20%; and photographic composition and overall presentation, 15%. The entries receiving the three highest total scores will be selected as the prospective winners. In a tie, the entry with the higher emotional-impact score will prevail.
Winner Notification and Verification
Prospective winners will be contacted using the information submitted with their entries and must respond within five business days. Before receiving a prize, each prospective winner may be required to confirm eligibility, provide applicable permissions, sign a declaration and release. If these requirements are not completed, the next highest-scoring eligible entrant may be selected.
Prizes and Substitution
Prizes are awarded are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash and subject to any conditions imposed by the provider.
Use of Entries and Privacy
Entrants retain ownership of their photographs. By entering, each entrant grants True Match Surrogacy a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, resize, display and share the submitted photograph, caption and entrant’s approved display name for contest administration, winner announcements and related promotional communications. Personal information will be used to administer the contest and in accordance with the True Match Surrogacy privacy policy. An entrant may be asked for additional consent before use in unrelated advertising.
Administration, Liability and General Conditions
True Match Surrogacy may reject an entry that does not comply with these rules and may suspend, modify or cancel the contest if fraud, technical failure, unauthorized interference or circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect fair administration. To the extent permitted by law, entrants release True Match Surrogacy and its representatives from claims arising from participation, publication of an authorized entry, acceptance or use of a prize, or failures involving third-party platforms or communications systems. Decisions concerning eligibility and judging are final, subject to applicable law.
